Mumbai, January 10, 2026 : In a significant step towards promoting health, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture, the first-ever grand conference dedicated to broccoli — widely recognized as a ‘superfood’ — is set to take place in Mumbai. The event, themed “From Broccoli Cultivation to Your Health”, will be held on January 15, 2026, in Mumbai, followed by a field visit and live cultivation demonstration on January 16, 2026, at Nandur Shingote village in Sinnar taluka, Nashik district.

The conference aims to highlight broccoli farming, production techniques, food technology, and its extensive health benefits. Broccoli is packed with essential nutrients including potassium, fiber, powerful antioxidants like sulforaphane, vitamin C, vitamin K, and chlorophyll. These elements aid in controlling blood pressure, preventing heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, boosting immunity, reducing inflammation, detoxifying the body, managing cholesterol, promoting gut health, and supporting bone and skin health.
